I would not recommend using M&TM freight at all. I chose this company to ship 2 cubic metres of household goods for my family. Prior to collecting the goods they seemed helpful and friendly to work with. Since they have collected my stuff for shipment they have been extremely untrustworthy. The quote they offered was for no more than 2cbm. I asked a few details about how I should prepare my items so as to not exceed this limit and they were not concerned about these factors. We still made sure to pack and measure everything to fit within these parameters. On the day of collection all our things were repacked by their team, which I appreciated, only to be told a few days later I needed to pay extra for exceeding 2cbm. We were prepared to make adjustments at the point of packing to ensure we did not exceed our limit but were not given this opportunity. I payed this amount grudgingly. Later I asked a question regarding our shipment which is when I found out that it was going to be delayed. My shipment was originally quoted as being delivered within 5-6 weeks. Now I am told that it will arrive at best 2 months after this timeframe. Due to this huge delay in delivery I requested that my shipment be redirected to an alternative address. The company then had the guts to charge me for this and blame me for the delay because it was greater than 2cbm. Please do NOT use this company for your international freight services. They offer a good quote but only to entice you and then change everything and make you pay for it since they are holding the power whilst holding your things. They have been very rude and not taken responsibility for their mistakes, instead passing on the costs to me as the customer. I should not have to pay for a companys mismanagement and poor business skills in their area of expertise.
