        Rooms: The refurbished rooms are great. Some of the rooms in the annexe are dilapidated and outdated, but very clean and comfortable. Nearby activities: Very close and easy access to LAKESIDE with all its shopping and activity facilities. Safety: All expected precautions taken. Walkability: Easy walk to Purfleet Station. Not far to Rainham marshes. Food & drinks: More than adequate. Noteworthy details: Currently the main building is surrounded by scaffolding (April 2023).

        Fantastic little hotel to stay in and the staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Zaac on reception- his smile is enough to brighten anyone's day and he went out of his way to accommodate us with our needs. The lovely bar maid in the bar with the tattoos and brown hair was also lovely and helpful and so much energy - best bar maid that I've observed, ever. Would definitely stay again. Only one issue, was the restaurant wasn't open as they are renovating and the men's loos were closed, so I had a real fright when I was in the loo and men came in....didn't like that at all. Rooms: Nice rooms.
