I had been really impressed with everything - from finding a car to sorting the credit and booking in a collection date - UNTIL they called me with 24 hours to go until collection to say that the car wouldn't be ready and now can't collect for another WEEK! Not willing to provide a hire car so now carless for a week as I had sold mine privately! Offered 30 per day for public transport - but that won't cover my commute to work, not to mention the fact that takes over 2 hours on public transport from where I live and I work shifts and trains aren't 24/7! Really wish I'd known this could have happened as I might not have proceeded - so just wanting others to be forewarned! No idea how I'm going to manage the next week now!

I'd give cazoo no stars if I could. I bought my car in January. Initially after buying the car I had to take it to Kwik fit (at the request of cazoo). The windscreen cleaning fluid was blocked in the tubing. Kwik fit found that it wasn't windscreen cleaner in the car but some other nondescript thick liquid. I contacted Cazoo concerned that the car had not had a 300 point check, noting that simple things like the car having no dust caps on the tyres. The car also just didn't feel right. I slasked fir it to be checked, cazoo refused. The clutch then started to disengage. I should have realised that there was a problem with the clutch, as it had felt high when I purchased it. I put it down to having a new make and model of car (that I wasn't used to). At the same time the oil warning light kept on coming on intermittently. I contacted Cazoo, they said someone would contact me back. 1 week later nothing. I contacted cazoo. They said they'd book me in for a check but I'd have to wait due to the lack of slots. This would be out of the warranty time. I wss reassured that this would be ok. I took my car to cazoo today. The car requires a new clutch. The oil sensors needed changing, the filter was changed and the oil ws overfilled. There is still a problem and they are not sure what it is. T willhave to go back in Cazoo have refused to pay for the clutch, saying initially it was out of warranty. When I pointed out that this was not my fault, I was informed I caused the problem. The mechanic at cazoo Lakesdide was very clear that unless I was driving full on the clutch I would not have caused this. The people at Lakeside said that they spoke to head office and said that I couldn't have caused the problem. I spent 40 minutes on the phone to customer service stating how I did not cause this problem. I have driven less than 2000miles and the mileage is 23000. I am very aware of how to drive a car, after nearly 20 years of driving and never needed a new clutch in any car, over all of my years of driving. I am not a clutch happy driver and tend to keep my foot on the floor most of the time, as I get pins and needles in my foot when driving. I am therefore very confident I have not driven my car with the clutch down. To be told that this is my fault is disgusting. To say it is not under warranty is a farce. This is disgusting customer service. I am not stupid and well aware that a clutch should last more than 60000miles. The warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. This is shoddy customer service and overall damn right insulting.
