I collapsed outside my H/A with serious back and mobility issues on Tuesday 10th Dec 2019 about 1pm. Solo response car driver "IAN" attended, assessed me called for 2 other units to assist, whereby, having demolished 2 canisters of gas and air, I was conveyed to Basildon. 6 officers 3 crews, carrying a slim jim of 21 stone down 2 flights of stairs. I am still there, 6 days later. X-rays inconclusive. CT scan showed damage but not extent. MRI scan revealed 3 fractured vertebrae in the lower back. Operation considered but likely belts and braces support will be made. Please can you track Ian and his colleagues down and pass on my personal thanks. Chris D.

A prompt service by the paramedics who attended my house after I had developed severe chest pains. They were attentive and knowledgeable and provided me with reassurance. They then conducted tests on me before conveying me to Basildon Hospital. They were a credit to the Ambulance Service, thanks ladies.
