This home was honestly superb! A few days before our trip, Merryll (the owner) sent a well-detailed email explaining how to reach the home, as well as ways to avoid roadwork if we were driving. She also reached out to ensure we had proper transportation to get to the home from the station (we didnt!) and offered to pick us up, which was so very kind of her. The home itself is bigger than the pictures made it look, and it felt so homey! The views from the kitchen were stunning, and we saw so many sheep and lambs. The home had sound-proofing so you dont actually hear all the baaing until you open a window or step out. The kitchen had all the amenities we could have asked for as we cooked all our meals over 2 days. Merryll provided a map in the home and outlined different walking routes guests could take, and it was easy to understand. Everyone in Grayrigg was so friendly as well! To summarise, it was such a lovely stay we thought about extending our trip!

Absolutely stunning location with incredible views out if the windows. The host was very helpful and the place was immaculate as well as having everything you need during your stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back again
