The cafe has changed since it first open, customer service is poor, staff need customer service training and the quality of food for the price is inadequate. The last 2 occasion of me going to this cafe I had noticed a great change in the atmosphere of the cafe and the attitude of the staff, however I still gave it a chance and went back. Today was the final straw being changed 21.40 for a breakfast, it seemed that the lady at the counter was being vindictive because I asked to adapt the breakfast. It's shame however I will not be going back to this place again. It would seem that something is going on with the business behind the scenes and as a customer you can see and feel it! Vegetarian options: Never again! The cafe has changed, customer service is poor and poor quality of food.

We've been meaning to go to Taste for a little while and finally made the time, and my word it's worth it. My wife has the big breakfast gluten free and I went for the breakfast bun. The Kurdish sausage is particularly good, and a special mention for the sweet and spiced apricot jam the breakfast comes with. A small box of Baklava to take home is a must. Delicious!

Overall, disappointing food at silly prices. I have never written a review before so I am not a Karen or a regular complainer but this was too much and the servers weren't very responsive to criticism. Their only suggestion was to reorder but the problem was the quality of the cooking not what we ordered. We are concerned that the reviews here are fake and I don't appreciate being tricked as we came here for the reviews and were let down. Hummus and bread was over 5 for a relatively small portion. Hummus was grainy and lacked flavour. Was served with two stale bits of pita bread. Sainsburys does better hummus. Having been to several middle eastern countries this was a big disappointment. Menemen was so oily my partner was sick after. It consisted of a few vegetables barely cooked. Flavourless, and with chunks of cheap feta which cost an extra 2.50 to add, not worth the price or upset stomach at all. Shakshuka came with two eggs that were beyond overcooked. The other elements were just bland. Very overpriced for the poor quality.
