As always, a great experience with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Food was delicious and they were very helpful in regards to my severe nut allergy.

First time visiting the place, on a cold and rainy morning. Went for my usual almond croissant and cappuccino test. 1. The taste of the cappuccino was very good, better than the last cafe I visited in Sutton and better than some big coffee chains. 2. The almond croissant was a generously large size and filled a good amount. I was offered a knife for the almond croissant which I thought was a nice gesture until I discovered the croissant was very hard, as if it had been left in a cold place for much longer than the opening time of the cafe. A steak knife would have worked better 3. The restaurant makes good use of the available space, using small chairs and tables, but with enough distance between them for people to have quiet and private conversations. Using this method, it feels more spacious than what you might think looking from the outside - as another reviewer mentioned too. If youre just popping in for a coffee, a good place to stop by during your walk until you reach closer to Tooting Broadway station.
