Discount Cabs

This firm used to be reliable but not longer are. To illustrate, I phoned for a cab on Wednesday 15 December to arrive at the railway station just after midnight I needed the cab as I was unable to walk home due having a broken arm and a damaged right leg. I arrived on time and the taxi was not present. After 5 minutes I called and there was no answer, obviously they weren't going to turn up. Shabby firm with shabby cars and ill educated drivers avoid at all costs.

Call for taxi 20.50 tonight, was told 20 mins & 21.40 called to be told taxi had arrived and gone we were stood outside the whole time no taxi arrived, when I questioned what time had the taxi arrived he cut me off rang straight back but would not answer my call. So rude and waste of time , why not just say they had any taxi available taxi was for vulnerable person and had to walk home as couldnt get taxi. Never use this company as they have no duty of care

Even though the drivers were nice the man on the phone, who is organizing the job for taxis, was very rude when I called to ask when the taxi is coming as it was late. I never going to call again this taxi service

I called for a taxi 1:05 and it hadnt come by 1:12 I rang to cancel because they were late by 7 minutes and I couldnt afford to wait and he gave me attitude telling me they were already there when I had already left and made plans to reach my destination. While telling them I needed to cancel I got called a waster and they hung up on me without giving me a chance to explain my situation. Terrible service 10/10 do not recommend.

Pre-booked a taxi 6 weeks ago with Discount to collect us from a wedding in Woolsthorpe on Saturday night at 11:30pm. Taxi never arrived and so I rang to ask if it was on the way. A very rude man accused me of lying about ever booking a taxi with them and was incredibly disrespectful and nasty on the phone to me. I still asked if they had another taxi to send now and he said no and then hung up on me and then blocked our number. 5* to Grantham Taxis who was very polite and helped us in a very upsetting last min situation and got us home. NEVER use Discount. Terrible service and incredibly rude.
