Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care

I am very happy with the service I am getting at Scrivens: the ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Doctor Raj is always very attentive and patient, explains all questions clearly and professionally, goes extra mile to address your concerns. Each time I go there I know I will not be rushed and I will get most of the help possible. Thoroughly recommend this business.

great opticians. I get quite nervous about eye tests but am always put at ease. I saw a different optician today, and was very impressed with the level of explanation about everything he was doing and looking for. Ladies on reception and front of house are always very friendly and helpful. good choice of frames as well

Decided to try Scrivens as I was not happy with my last visit to the other one that I should've gone to (apparently). What a difference! I saw Raj, who introduced himself and throughout the appointment explained everything thoroughly- 2 specific questions I had asked the other organisation and was fobbed off were answered in great detail and made me understand so much better. Also what to do about them! Eye test was very thorough as well. I was there for about an hour and a half, then chose frames. I did ask for one of my frames to be used, which isn't an issue and found another frame for 29. They do have free frames, but they were really basic and I didn't like them. Considering there was only 2 members of staff in the shop today, I would say they coped very well and the whole experience was so much better than the other organisation. Both extremely professional. I know where I will be going for my next check up!
