Now under new ownership - thankfully as sadly the service had dipped from my original review a few yrs back. Now named Sunnings and service/food are back to my original review :) Really good chip shop chips, good sized & excellent tasting fish in a nice batter, plus good value, accompanied by friendly service to match. A change up of the menu too, now offering wraps (which were really tasty, although a bit too much mayo for my liking, though it was by no means excessive) and pizzas too (yet to be sampled). I'll definitely be back again.

Just had 2 homemade pizzas 12 " with five toppings of your choice. 7.50 a pizza. Being a fish and chip shop I didn't expect much. They blew me away! Fresh dough using semolina to stop the stone baked pizza from sticking. All fresh ingredients. For 15 , better than any chain restaurant in G town. I have paid more than that for a sub standard pizza at Papa John's ! Well done Frydays. All ways enjoyed your fish and chips, pizza is also on my menu with you.

Service was very pleasant, however the fish was inedible and the chips not much better. Very disappointed, couldn't eat it, all went in the bin.
