Oyster and fries are really good, but lobsters were disappointing for the price they charge. We tried the full lobster, lobster Mac and cheese and the lobster roll. All of the lobsters were equally flavourless, chewy, bland and rubbery. The lobsters were definitely not fresh. We ordered the 1.5 lb lobster and it was definitely not around 1lb. The lobster Mac and cheese had a weird smell to it and didnt taste cheesy. Definitely not worth 50 quid for that lobster on its own.

I loved this menu, it was so enticiing and I was excited to go to a Boston-like seafood restaurant in London. I've lived in London for 20 years, but I grew up in the Northeast of the USA and miss quality lobster rolls!. This menu appeared very promising and I loved that they were dog friendly. I bring my little cavalier king charles everywhere I can. Although many reviews have complained about the price, I thought they may have been exaggerating and I had no issue paying a slightly higher price tag for small but delicious portions. The reality is, their signature dish, the lobster crayfish roll is not even average. It is 25 of, I could have eaten better at Leon's and I truly mean that, I am not trying to be offensive. I did not eat anything else, but it is a tell-tale when the biggest selling point is not good. Another tell-tale is that in the 2 hours I was there, there were only two other tables in the restaurant. There are loads of wonderful restaurants in the capital, I would suggest avoiding trialling this one. BTW the two stars are for the staff, they were lovely. The food was a one.

I had such high hopes. You know when you get a craving for a specific food? Well, I had been craving lobster for ages. I know its not the right season and I know lobster needs to be flown in I figured, it would be expensive and for whatever the cost, I was ready to indulge. Ill start by saying this review has nothing to do with the wonderful service we received. The food was objectively delicious, fresh and had good presentation. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The food was served within reasonable time, and we enjoyed every morsel. But value for money was severely lacking. The cost wasnt relative to the portion size, which was such a shame. We didnt order any alcohol, we simply ordered a soft drink, lobster roll and whole lobster. Our bill came to about 95. We left hungry and ended up ordering a pizza to fill our stomachs. Sadly, I cant justify going back.
