A mixed experience. The good - Teaching from day one, so lots of practical experience - Great opportunities to get involved at my placement school - Second placement at a contrasting school was very valuable The bad - Training days were at an incredibly slow pace - Training sessions were often patronising or condescending - Lots of tockenism - They have an annoying habit of witholding information

Harris Teacher training is an environment where trainees are supported knowing that there is someone, for example, your tutor and the team to guide you with your query. I have been supported from day one and valued as a trainee. Staff in my training school has been supporting me in my career path. I would recommend the establishment to any aspiring teacher.

I could not recommend to train as a teacher with Harris ITE more. Since the very beginning the whole team has been very supportive, helpful and professional. The one-year programme is meticulously planned to the need of the trainees, so that progress can be monitored and support can be provided accordingly. The tutors are experienced, passionate and enthusiastic. Undoubtedly a pleasant and stimulating environment in which to develop one's teaching practice.
