Recently donated my eggs and i was surprised by how lovely it was. I got to know a lot more about my reproductive health and became more in tune with myself. The experience with London Egg Bank was lovely from start to finish, and Im certain I will be donating again in the future. Everyone at both clinics, London Egg Bank & LWC Harley Street were so friendly and caring throughout the whole experience, from Dominika to the sonographers, to the fertility nurses and the ladies at reception & the counselor. Thank You all!

The staff at london egg bank put you at ease and comfort from the moment you walk in. Friendly faces on the reception with easy chat. To easy day to day catch ups with the nurses whilst they assure you of the progress, procedures and help you with any difficulties you face. They knew my name, my partner, as i struggled to do my own injections, and worked around us, our work commitments and my fears (of needles). When i did feel unwell, they called me and booked me in to be seen. They reassured me from the moment treatment started. What could be an intimidating and personal affair of the monitoring of eggs due to the intimate nature of the check ups is in reality nothing but a chat with an internal ultrasound. The removal process was equally professional, clean and caring. With the staff showing you respect and dignity, with biscuits at the end. London egg bank have managed to create the perfect environment, due to their staff, to make the process as seemless and comfortable as possible.

Going into this I honestly assumed I would be harvested for my eggs then leave without any care. I couldnt be any more wrong! I had my own care coordinator (thank you Frida) who virtually held my hand through the entire process, we had lengthy zoom/phone calls where she answered every question possible & even got me in touch with a counsellor to help me go through the implications of donating. After initial genetic tests & questioning I was scanned every 2/3 days after beginning the medication, a nurse would explain everything to me each time such as what the medication was doing and what were looking for on the scans When it came to donation day, I felt so looked after, chit chatting with nurses took the nervousness away & the doctor came in to explain the entire procedure and the potential dangers - thankfully everything went well and we got 16 eggs! I was on my way home after an hour Im writing this 2 days after the procedure & I feel absolutely fine, Id recommend any woman to donate if theyre able - the feeling I have knowing I could of helped people become parents has me smiling from ear to ear

Its a lengthy but very rewarding process, do prepare your body to receive lots of hormones which can make you very tired. Overall, the nurses/doctors were always nice and kind and very caring, if this is something you want to do I would recommend 100% :)
