Really nice stay in the country. Tim & Maggie our hosts couldnt have been more helpful. Really clean and modern rooms with all the facilities you need including a fridge to keep my diabetic medication in. Great pub five minutes walk down the road and a great breakfast at the B&B. Will definitely return. The best place weve stayed in a long time. Well done Tim & Maggie!

The rooms at the Beeches are recent conversions of part of an outbuilding comfortable and modern with nice touches like in-room refrigerator essential on the sunny summer days when we visited in mid-July. A picnic table and chairs meant we were able to relax in the picturesque garden (with wifi) when not out and about. Secure parking for our bikes was a bonus. The situation, on the outskirts of the small, picture postcard village of Goulceby, meant dinner and a refreshing drink at the local pub was a 5-minute walk with a wider selection of eateries accessible a short drive away. The hosts welcome was warm and most apparent around breakfast with flexible timing and wide-ranging menu options agreed each evening to suit our agenda for the following day. The Beeches is about equidistant from Lincoln to the east and Moggs Eye Beach to the west each provided an enjoyable day out within a short derive by car. But what we came to appreciate even more was the local landscape. As first-time visitors to the Lincolnshire Wolds the range of opportunities for sightseeing, exploring, walking and cycling, either from the Beeches directly or by driving a short distance first to extend our range, amazed us. For example, a tour of a local vineyard was not something we anticipated beforehand. We definitely intend to return to the Wolds and the Beeches.
