I dont know where to start with this review. Ive put off leaving it as I really dont like doing it, but this has been the worst experience Ive ever had with a company personally or professionally. We dropped our woodchipper in a few months ago for a service and to fix the handbrake. After having it a week or so I was told it would be ready the following afternoon. I took the afternoon off work and headed over to collect it. When I arrived I was told it would be another couple of hours. Instead of driving home and back again, I waited. After 3 hours I was told there was no chance it would be ready and it would be more like the middle of the following week. The following week I was told it was ready, but I couldnt have it because they didnt know how much to charge as the engineer was off that day. They eventually let me collect it. I was then billed just over 1000. For a service and handbrake repair. Also, the handbrake worked no different than when we dropped it off. Stupidly, I paid the Invoice, but sent an email querying the amount, this went unanswered, so I called a few days later. Whenever you call this company you get through to the same guy whatever option you select, hell then tell you he knows nothing and you need to speak to the office women, then hell tell you theres no direct number for the office and theyll call you back. They didnt call back. Meanwhile, the chipper was running poorly so we eventually took it to another local company. They have got it running perfectly within 3 days and charged 300. They said the spark plugs needed changing, although they should have been brand new if M&A had serviced it. They seem surprised when I mentioned what wed been charged. I again called M&A wanting answers for being charged 1000 for seeming nothing, brakes not fixed, no new spark plugs etc. Again I got through the reception man, was told I needed to speak to the office lady who wasnt there, no direct number etc etc, theyll call me back. Admittedly I missed their call as I was working but I called back immediately and was told she was unavailable again. They didnt call back. I sent another email as it seemed pointless calling and speak to this guy again. Its been almost a week since then and Ive had no reply. In conclusion, do not use this company, drive 15 minutes away to Lamberhurst Engineering or anyone else. I am never compelled to leave bad reviews but this company is beyond a joke. AVOID.
