We love forestry parks and this one has to be one of the best we've been too. For 14 you can park all day and the site is packed with things to do. The Pinetum itself was lovely. There are lots of good paths for buggys (but also some more wild trails) and we spent several hours collecting different pine cones and climbing trees. The day was topped off however by the brilliant kids park and adventure trail. I didn't realise from the photos how big the parks were and how many of them were dotted along the trail. They were a big hit with all the kids and we could've spent a lot longer there had it not started hammering down with rain. A brilliant day out and we will definitely be back.

Have visited many times and keep coming back. We have found different places each time. Beautifully kept woodlands with so many different things to look at. The trails are signposted well, and the guide leaflets give so much more information that they are worth a read. Make a day of it, and the parking cost becomes irrelevant.

Well maintained gardens and grounds with children's play areas, Go Ape and forest walking and bike trials. Sensibly priced cafe and huge car park. Clean toilets.

Just absolutely love this place. Parking is astronomical so make sure you take stuff with you to stay as long as you can to make the most of it. Cafe is high priced as well. But that doesn't detract from the beauty of the place itself. Glorious walk around.
