Gave this one a try because its subscription model appealed to me, but the experienve was pretty bad. I booked a short beard trim online, I undertstood it to be 6. When I arrived, I was sat at chair quickly. The sink in front of me looked like it had accomodated for plenty of previous customers as it was full of hair. I explained what I wanted. He was friendly and we got chatting about beards etc. However, when it came to using the razor, there was no pre-care or after-care. I wasn't looking for a full hot-towel treatment, but with no pre/after care and going using a dry razor on dry skin, the result was really bad skin burn. When it came to paying, he asked me how much it said on line so I said 6 and he said the pricing changed to 10 "today". He tried to change it back to 6 I think but I felt too akward at that point, especially with my skin on fire. So I paid the further 4. When I got home to wash my face / moisturise the burn, I noticed the beard trim was really quite un-even. It looked okay at the barbers so I didn't say anything, but when I was looking at it eye-to-eye, it was quite obviously shallower one side than the other. I really wanted to give this place a go but unfortunately, i'd say its one to avoid based on the experience. Services: Beard trim, Straight razor shave
