        Food & drinks: After struggling to find somewhere open on 2nd January for a belated NYE celebration we found Gosforth Hall was open so we went. Food was excellent and did not disappoint. Mushrooms in garlic for starters tasted wonderful as did the vegan burger for main, and a favourite desert of sticky toffee pudding. Service really attentive and professional. Enjoyed a leisure catch up with a friend. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back. They have an extensive outside dining area that would be lovely to dine out when the weather gets warmer. Will definitely be back.
