Claire is an amazing host with incredible knowledge of the area we hit a nail on the road prior to coming she could have said I hope you have AA cover but no she called a friend to come and take the tyre off repair it and fit the tyre again we were completely taken back as no one mentioned anything of payment purely a goodwill gesture.
If you're looking to stay here to only climb Skarfell I highly recommend staying a few extra nights to take in everything the area has to offer so many amazing walks and lakes to swim if you're looking for the perfect getaway to decompress and take in the best of the British countryside look no further!
