Cant comment on the Job as it Wasn't actually Picfords just another company who they give the Jobs too Don't PAY more because of the name PICKFORDS ,seems like a SCAM they just give the job to another company. FEEL MISLEAD WILL NEVER USE AGAIN . they have already lost another job family member moving in 3 weeks. Also couldn't contact anyone managing the job when the van was hours late.

Appalling service and no response to my complaint from more than a year ago. I paid additional insurance for the move and have had to use this to make repairs to items that were agreed as fragile, high value items because the removals team did not handle them properly. They carried 3 antique prints unwrapped and stacked on top of one another, damaging all 3. The piano was not moved properly, causing significant damage requiring a specialist restorer. The house we moved out of was damaged - spills on the carpet; gouged plasterwork; and they broke a light off the wall. The beds were not reconstructed safely - the crew took most of the screws away with them and did not return to fix the problem despite repeated assurances from head office that they would. On the day they returned to fix the beds they said they needed to go to a store and that they would be back - they disappeared and never returned. In the midst of the pandemic the crew didn't wear masks at any point inside our house. One of them took regular naps (he seemed either hungover or on drugs), meaning that the move took an extraordinary amount of time. Absolutely the worst removals service (in fact, the worst service of any kind) I have ever experienced and we're still trying to get even an initial response to out complaint more than a year later.
