Seddon Homes Caraway Green

Lovely small development with a variety of properties different styles sizes budgets. Set a stones throw away from village green in a beautiful area... UPDATE... AVOID... I reserved a property here in February 21, between ONWARD LIVING & SEDDONS HOMES I had an absolute nightmare experience. Initially assurred would be in by mid-end May... this was not to be the case. Excuses throughout ...They handover hadn't been done, the legal documents not completed, the transfer of ownership from Seddons to Onward uncompleted etc etc... May 14th I received an email advising me and I quote... All handed over just waiting for you to move in now....LIE it was far from ready for me to move in as I later discovered. Due to this info i agreed a completion date on my property of 1st June 21. Advised Seddons etc and was advised that should be ok but cant guarantee as may be a few days -week later. Agreed to this as i wanted to put flooring etc in b4 moved so temporarily rented a property for 2 weeks. I then find out that The transfer of ownership hadn't been done, the legal paperwork hadn't been completed or signed...i sent/made numerous emails calls etc as having sever RA flare ups caused by the stress asking for with date, inally got a response off Onward Living with a date I get a call 36 hrs before said date, and on my birthday to advise me not definite now as discovered legal doc isn't signed! Ruined my Birthday, didn't sleep at all that night as was so upset and stressed out, finally the following day with my families request and support I withdrew my reservation as I was so ill again. My Solicitor advised Onward Living Solicitors with my withdrawal statement explaining reasons. The site Salesman Emailed me adv he had been told I had withdrawn and requested an email confirmation so could resell. I sent the same email as had to solicitors. TO date some 12 days after I withdrew and my honest email I have received no contact from any party. Am absolutely disgusted at Seddond and Onward Living they caused so much stress upset and illness yet have absolutely no compassion or respect. I'm now over 1800 down on rental furniture storage, solicitor fees etc. And they can't even be bothered to offer an apology!!!

It was basically a friend who was fitting a fireplace for a private customer the only reason why three stars was given was because the estates was only half built so therefore it was very muddy very undulating and the road was unfinished apart from that the homes were very good very clean and seem to be very well built.
