Found Lee's website and rang for a quote. Lee was round very soon and found out what we wanted. The quote followed and we was happy so arranged for the work to be done. We have now had all work completed to a very high standard, very professional and hard working. We are very happy with results. Highly recommend CWP&L.

Lee and Dave have just nicely completed paving work around my house including a patio area. The job involved removal of existing concrete paths and paving slabs together with part demolition and removal of a brickwork raised flower bed. The work was done in a professional manner , Lee and Dave did a good clean job and were very efficient. I am certain that I will be using their services again should the need arise.

Having decided to replace/add to our tired looking pavers in the patio area at the rear of the bungalow this was then continued around the side of the bungalow down to the road - an area of some 180 square metres. On looking on the internet we liked the look of Charles William a Talasey approved contractor and had constructive and informative chats with Lee on his visits to provide a quote. Not the cheapest but their thoroughness from beginning to end proved we had made the right choice and was value for money. We found the "team" to be very hard working and professional. Nothing was too much trouble if we decided on changes. We were highly delighted with the final result completely transforming the area and we would highly recommend Charles William. We decided a while ago that we must have our drive dug up and replaced. The original concrete was cracking badly and was sinking in places. The main stumbling block in going ahead with the work was finding the right company to take on such a large job. We obtained quotes for the work but we were not convinced that the job would be done as well as we wanted. Many companies that replace drives do not have the best reputations, so we were wary. As we walked around our local area we watched as other people had their drives done. We kept noticing work completed by Charles William and we were very impressed. Our neighbour then had his old patio dug up and replaced by Charles William and we were able to study the job closely. It was superb. We contacted Charles William and upon first meeting Lee he spoke confidently about the work that was involved and talked us through how this would be done. We asked for a quotation which we received promptly. It was in line with other quotes that we had received so, on the strength of the work that we had seen, we agreed to have Charles William do the work. Lee and Dave worked incredibly hard through one of the hottest spells of weather that we have had for years. They were well-organised and considerate of our needs to be able to have access to our property. Their efforts paid off and the end result was even better than we had hoped for. It looks fantastic. After the work had been completed we discovered an issue with a soakaway. This was an historical problem and not as a result of the work on the new drive. We decided to have the soakaway replaced with drains and some of the new drive had to be lifted. Lee agreed that they would come back when the drainage work was finished and re-lay the blocks. They did this promptly amidst their busy work schedule. We will never need a new drive again but I would recommend Lee, Dave and Craig at Charles William to everyone who might be considering having this work done. They were very professional, very friendly, pleasant to deal with and produced a fabulous finished job. More than that, they were so helpful when we needed their support following our drainage problems. It was the best possible outcome.

We needed a patio and paving work done on our pretty "tired" rear garden. This entailed digging up existing block paving and a small corner patio; uprooting small trees and shrubs. Searching on-line for well-reviewed companies to do the work; we came across Charles William. First impressions were promising. Their website was professional and informative, with excellent photos of their work. Their brochure was sent on request and again was very useful, particularly in assessing costs. We really liked Charles William open pricing policy. Their pricing is transparent, with no hidden costs. Pricing shown in the brochure is the price the customer pays including VAT. Other costs e.g. Skips are included in the price We also appreciated their fast communication. Director Lee Axup responds rapidly to phone calls and emails. He also has a "can do" attitude. As the work developed we asked for additional edgings etc. This was no problem to Lee and a written quote for the additional work was produced in minutes! In summary, we are delighted with our new patio/paving and highly recommend Lee and the team at Charles William
