Completed the online form about the faults, answered their questions on the phone about the diagnosis work I had requested, told them again what was wrong with it and agreed to the almost 100 diagnostic fee.
When the vehicle went in they did the service and rang up saying they couldnt investigate because the canopy on the vehicle that was faulty wasnt fitted by them. I said I knew that and was prepared to pay the diagnostic fee, they then stated they couldnt do the work because there was a dog cage in the truck - my wife can slide this out or push it forwards to the front of the truck bed but clearly a workshop full of mechanics couldnt be arsed on a Friday afternoon.
Should just have turned down the job rather than wasting my time.
Have since rang for feedback and when I explained my disappointment young chap calling didnt have anything useful to say, clearly didnt care and said something like oh right well thank you for answering my call
Car was however picked up and collected which was a good service.
Huge shame that during the free wash it looks like they used a Brillo pad and sandpaper and the truck left with a few decent scratches after its first main dealer service but after the experience I had I havent even bothered mentioning it to them.
Shambles.
