The MD of this place is called Brendan Byrne. He has actually left a review on here saying excellent service. Thats a red flag right there. If you treated customers well in the first place you wouldnt have to write reviews, ABOUT YOURSELF. Trust me, it is far from a great service. Of course the job gets done quick enough (he wants your cash) but once its done you dont see him again. Brendans Mum lives next door but one to my Mum. Its where I, and his siblings grew up (so for over 35 years). My Mum wanted two new doors so on the advice of Brendans Mum, who recommended him, my Mum proceeded to get him to fit 2 new doors. Regrettably she paid him in full, up front. She is nearly 70 and because her friend said her son was amazing she didnt worry too much. Big mistake. The doors were fitted, on a Sunday by two fitters. Once they had gone, my Mum noticed one of the doors was damaged and the workmanship was very sloppy. She even asked his Mum to have a look and she was embarrassed and said she would speak to him as she wouldnt be happy either as the workmanship was unacceptable. Personally, I would have driven to your house with your Mother in the car and demanded you return to sort it, refund some of the money or babysit your own kids for the rest of your life - but thats me. Instead, half the residents on the street where your Mother lives (and we grew up) has seen the state of them. We had a lovely open house coffee morning to look at the shoddy work and encouraged residents to use screensavers of your business name and address to remind them to stay clear next time they wanted windows or doors. My Mum has text, phoned and sent pictures. He said he would come back, he said he would sort it, he hasnt. The doors were fitted over a month ago. I had to tell my Mother, he aint coming back, you paid him in full and so youll not see him again. Sadly I was right. Any tradesman worth their salt makes sure they return to a job quickly to rectify. I also had to tell her not to blame his Mum or talk to her about it, its not her fault. So well done Brendan, great job. Dissatisfied customer, embarrassed Mother and to anyone who asks me or my Mother if they know a glazing firm, you wont be the name we recommend - ever.

Came out to replace 5 blown glass units and one with a bowed frame in our bay window, Initial work done very quickly within around 72 hours, and we thought hed done a good job, however after he left we noticed that the bowed unit was still bowed! Initially thinking the same problem had happened with the new frame we contacted him straight away (this was first thing the following morning after he fitted them 5pm the night before)! A few days later he came to have a look and realised hed replaced the top window on the Wrong side! This is where the problems started! He told us he still had the original glass unit from the other side that was still in good condition (he said he wondered why when he got back to his lock up that wed asked to replace it as he couldnt see anything wrong with it! Thats because that wasnt the one that needed replacing!) he promised he would drop round one day and swap out original frame that had been taken out in error with the one that should have been replaced. That was 1st October 2018! Fast forward 4 1/2 months, countless messages that were never replied to and several unanswered phone calls and were still waiting for the error to be corrected! We ended up using other family members phone numbers just to get through as when we used our own number it was just left to ring out, and calls never returned! We had been given excuses such as unable to get into the lock up, got into the lock up but out glass unit was actually damaged so hed had to order a replacement (albeit at no additional cost?!) then the replacement wouldnt be here til new year as too close to Xmas but it would be ready to be fitted w/c 14th jan, then he couldnt get the glass unit for fitting that week as the manufacturer had closed their business over Xmas so a new manufacturer had to be found and I had to be aware that just because he resumed working early January didnt mean that the glass manufacturers were back at work yet (this was 15th Jan and still on their Xmas close down!), new manufacturer then sourced but as far as they were concerned one frame of glass was not their priority over larger orders, so wouldnt be here until of Jan I just needed to be patient(!!!) 28th Jan I contacted again to chase up, 3 days later I had a reply saying would be here on the 1st feb but no time, so would ring when it arrived and arrange fitting... still no sign of it! Last week my patience gave in, called another local company, arrived 1 hour later that same day, measured and quoted, 72 hours later my window has been replaced! All in all, if he gets it right first time youll prob get a good job but dont hold any hope out if you have any problems or issue as its taken me 4 1/2 months and Ive just ended up going elsewhere.
