Lovely pub in a pretty village, Sunday lunch was very good, friendly hosts, all good.

Not impressed. We noticed a very unpleasant drain smell when we arrived. We were disappointed despite there being two curries on the menu that basmatic rice was not available only sticky rice and then was kept waiting a very long time for our food. We had gone early specifically to watch Jake Ward and was told we would be reseated after all the food was finished. This did not happen. No tables and seating was provided and we had to carry our own chairs through to the area to be able to see him. We expected better, can't see me going again. Jake was very good.!! Hope to see him again but at a different venue.

Great food (one of the best Sunday roasts Ive had), fair pricing, nice atmosphere and in a lovely, quaint village. Free pool table also! Highly recommended

I've eaten here twice so far, and both times the food has been excellent. Really well-priced as well.
