My friend and I called in for lunch, one Wednesday at the beginning of April. The place was almost empty. We found the lunch menu to be quite expensive and the only thing I fancied on the menu I couldn't have as it contained something I'm allergic to, so we settled for a ciabatta sandwich, which came with nice thick chips and was really good. We both chose a dessert and whilst my friends sticky toffee pudding was plentiful and, according to her, delicious, my Creme Brulee was nothing even remotely resembling a creme brulee. It was a slice of something in the region of a creme caramel in texture, which I dislike, had no crunchy topping and was on a plate with a couple of little pieces of rhubarb, as dressing. Our meal cost approximately 18 each and we only drank soda water, no coffee. Lovely place, but I doubt I'd go back.
