Where to start, there are so many positive things, and only positive things, to say about this wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation! Its exceptional and a privilege to stay there, along with being extraordinary value for money. It would be a delight at a higher price. Steve and Sally are the kindest hosts. They treat their guests with such kindness and thought. They are professional yet have an easy manner. A cup of tea on arrival, a chat when needed, discretion at other times. Faultless. The accommodation: you have not just your spotless and comfortable, modern room with all mod cons, but use of a relaxing and comfortable living room with French doors onto a patio with plants and a view of the Peckforton Hills. Perfect for sitting outside on nice evenings or with your coffee after breakfast. The room: spotless, comfortable, great bed, en suite shower. Just a delight to be in. Breakfast: in the pleasant dining room, replete with glass and china and linen, very special. And your choice of hot food after fresh fruit salad and cereals and yoghurt. They can also cater for dietary requirements with advance notice. The setting: just off the A41, on the 41 bus route into Chester, which is largely how I travelled. The bus stops are on the main road, just ask (theres a pavement on the main road but not on the road the cottage is on, so be careful walking around to the main road). Its a peaceful setting. VFM: fantastic. It would be a wonderful place to stay at 40% more expensive! Its a testament to Sally and Steves good natures that their rates are so fair. Go there and count your blessings.
