April 2023. 1st visit while passing. Only had drinks. Nice pub with friendly staff.

Nice little pub for a drink. Had food one time and was rather nice. Nice beer garden and shelters to drink outside, cosy inside.

Queen Anne is a bit old fashioned but in a quaint kind of way. Scrub that first bit, on reflection the more accurate adjective is "Traditional" and whilst I'd have hated it when I was in my 20s, now I'm unfortunately not in my 20s I think it has many charms. It's clean tidy, well presented and a friendly place. The regulars are quiet IE it's never a rowdy place full of shouty/loud drunks. If you want a quiet pint and some food it's not too bad at all. It's been some time since I ate there but the dishes on other reviews certainly look nice. The "COVID period" culling of many pubs has left us with the pubs that were the best run. And yes, of course that means they had the better business model with sound economic policies but isn't great customer service intrinsic to a good business model? Customers will only continue to spend money with you if your product is attractive to them.
