Organised, friendly staff. Passionate about the work they do sorting the things people no longer want or need. Picked up a nail in my tyre last time I visited. Materials could be better sorted further but tips generally are the same. Can get very busy at peak periods.

It's a quarter to nine on an overcast, damp and surprisingly cool Sunday morning in April .... Spring in the UK then! We've made an early start to the local recycling centre, probably the first of many as we attempt to tidy the loft and the garage so we have an assortment of things to go, so many, not sure which area they all go in. No problem. A helpful worker checked through with us what we had and explained everything. Section by section we empty the car and then I see it .... the Second Hand Saloon!! must have a look when we finish. A few more helpful directions to make sure we are doing right and it's time to wander over to the Saloon. This is a great way to recycle and reuse. Going to your local recycling centre can be a dirty and frustrating task but here I am smiling, happy to be here with the most helpful and cheerful workforce ( don't be fooled by the stern look on his face, it's all for the camera) who are polite, happy to give you the time of day, constantly working to keep the place as clean and as tidy as a place like this can be ..... just brilliant. I've wanted to write a review about them before because this is not something new, I've been coming here for a long time and it just gets better and better. Compliments to the whole team who work here and thanks for putting a smile on our faces on a grey day.
