Cypress Log Cabins

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING We very reluctantly checked out this morning This was the perfect escape and treat for the mrs, Mike and Mandy were so welcoming and very friendly, i have absolutely no doubt that we will return for another amazing great escape, the cabin was just amazing everything you need right there, a place away from everything with absolutely everything

Absolutely top end and it is all down to the deep hard work of the lovely owners. Beech Log Cabin is just fabulous with no stint on luxurious appointments! The fridge feezer is powerful and a bis size for holiday accommodation. The welcome pack/simple breakfast is excellent. Not a spot for the cooked breakfast fanatic, as you cannot do owt but toast and kettle things but surrounded close by with lots of truly good establishments for food from cafe to fine dining. Lovely spot and the micro laser spots in the beech tree are enchanting and would take a proper camera to photograph! Hugely recommended and you get a LOT for the admittedly top dollar. Wifi was unreliable and whilst I could wait to see a brief 4G signal on O2 and cog in to Netflix, the O2 and Vodaphone reception is declared as being poor on the website and it is true! That said, the TV was big and fabulous and although we didn't spin any up, there were two drawers packed with DVDs of quality movies for the separate player! Oh and beware the spa bath...we found that after the crazy heat, the standard 37C was a bit warm..and I parboiled MeJulie!

We stayed here a year ago (June 2021), and it just occurred to me I never wrote a review!! My partner and I booked a 2-night stay to celebrate his birthday. I informed the owners of this in advance, and they decorated the cabin - such a lovely touch! The area was so peaceful and quiet, the cabin was gorgeous and the perfect size for the two of us. The hot tub was fabulous and so relaxing. Unfortunately during our stay I sprained my ankle whilst we were out walking, so my partner's parents had to come all the way up from Devon to rescue us (as my partner doesn't drive). The owners were so understanding, and let us leave our car parked there for a little longer after our checkout time whilst we awaited rescue. All in all we had a fabulous stay (minus the ankle sprain!) and would definitely return again.
