Croft Cottage, The Lodge and Campsite

I have mixed feelings about this campsite. Booking was easy and we were kept up to date with everything we needed to know. The site was in the perfect place to visit a plethora of places including Mudeford quay, new forest and Bournemouth. The pitch sizes were large enough to accommodate our 8x10 tent and a large car. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly and the site had a very family friendly with no way of children escaping, badminton nets, a slide and the alpacas. The downfall of the site was that when booking, it was stated that we would be able to use Sandy Balls Resort next door. This is in fact not the case at all. After speaking with the owner on arrival, he said that the resort had gone upmarket and is unlikely to let us use anything there, even though he was aware of this, he hadnt updated his sites profile. We went and spoke to the resort and they informed us that you were not allowed to use any of the facilities on their park under any circumstances. The main reason we booked this site was because the advert said we could so this was hugely disappointing. Unfortunately we probably wouldnt use this site again.

Amazing little camp site. Bill made us feel very welcomed here. He arranged volley ball in the evening for children and adults which was very nice indeed. In the morning, Bill brought the children to feed 3 lovely alpacas and chicken. He gave us the eggs from the chicken which were super delicious. Toilets and showers were very clean. There was hot water for shower and washing up sink.
