A very nice medieval church with commanding views over Godshill. However, this means that its not possible to reach the church by car. We left the car on the road by the cottages but it was early in the morning and it was not an issue as we stayed just for half an hour. At peak hours I guess that the carswould have to be left down at the village.

When you walk up the steep lane to view the lovely thatched houses above the village & walk upwards again to the church you understand why it was named Godshill. Beautiful & well worth the effort to get there.
