St Lawrence the Martyr Church, Godmersham

A church with important literary historical value, as it is where Jane Austen would attend services while visiting her brother. The church is of historical importance itself, since parts of it date back around a thousand years. Lots of beautiful countryside surrounding it (including the North Downs and the river Stour), so you could easily combine a visit to the church with a hike.
