        Pretty empty when I shopped today at 9am. Self service check out was quiet and quick. Now fully stocked vegs and salad. What happened to the proper beers? Very few left on the shelves.

        I really like the variety of food at Waitrose but have one criticism and that is the baguettes are pale and flabby and bend in the middle. They should be brown and crusty throughout like proper French bread. I gave up buying them a while ago and have even spoken to the person on the bakery dealing with bread as it cooks. They report that this is what the machine does and they cannot override it. Please address these pale floppy French baguettes. Thank you.

        The supermarket has a large car park and is a short walk from the High Street of this small attractive town Waitrose has the usual high quantity range of fresh, chilled, and bakery products. It also has a small but quite nice caf area serving cakes and sandwiches, including toasted sandwiches. It is well laid out, and the staff are friendly. A nice place to shop
