A proper pub. Warm & friendly, serving absolutely the best home cooked Sunday lunch ever for a very reasonable 13.95. Will definitely be back there.

This is an old school pub in the traditional mould. It's nice to get a break from themed bars, but I fear this type of pub is less and less common. It's very friendly and their pub goers are chatty and low key, with quite a community feel to it. It's clean and well kept, The gents are tidy, but up some pretty steep stairs. (The Google photo is wrong btw)
