        Donna behind the bar was so lovely to my mum when she was there! Mum was struggling to find away to get to the next town and Donna went above and beyond to get her a taxi. The taxi driver ended up being the owner of the pub who went out of his way to help her. She said they were the friendliest pub of her whole trip and would highly recommend to people. Lovely staff and wonderful customer service from this pub. I can't thank them enough for helping mum!

        I popped in here on my travels the other day, I just needed a warm place to hold up whilst I waited for a lift to my next job, I was made to feel welcome, even though I wasn't spending a great deal... Just how an old school pub should be... Its in my friendly places to return to list.
