I leave in Godalming for 4 years now. I never needed any appointment or anything from them. Today i was there with my wife, because she had an allergy reaction and her face is very visible swollen. At reception we asked if we can make an appointment or anything else that could help, because we don't know yet the cause for the allergy. The young lady just said to call in the morning or call 111. But we were there..why she didn't do the appointment at the moment. Anyway,at the end we ask what can we take for the allergy until someone will see us ,but she said she is not trained for this. So,my point is,when someone is coming to you for help, with an allergy reaction that is quite serious, try at least to look interested to help.

Literally the best GP surgery I've ever been to! Since injuring my leg, I was able to get an initial physio appointment within the same week. The advice provided was professional and extremely high quality. Not only that, the physio thought an additional referral to see a GP was required and that was scheduled during the same appointment for the following morning. The advice provided by my actual GP was second to none, so friendly, reassuring and far better advice than the private GP consultation I had through work. It's a shame to read that some other patients have experienced less than ideal waiting times but to be honest, that's the reality of surgeries right now. However, both of my appointments I think I sat down for approximately 2 minutes in total and then my name was called - astounding service! I really hope that patients that do have a good experience take the time to thank the staff, as it's all too easy to complain but actually giving praise to those who do challenging careers can make someone's day that little bit less challenging.
