Mike Elkin offered some of the best Customer Service that I have experienced for a long time. I bought a pair of slippers at the Ascot Christmas Fair in November and, on opening them at home, I had one size 9 and one size 11. Of course, Mike refunded my money the next day but there were sadly no slippers left to purchase. A couple of weeks later, he personally delivered the new pair, which were to be a Christmas present, to my home. Sadly at Christmas, the slippers didnt fit the recipient and the ever helpful Mike, collected them on his way to work in January and refunded me again !!! So I never visited the shop and never made a purchase but Mike was so helpful throughout. Definitely service over and above the call of duty ! Thank you.

Took a bag in for repair to its leather handles in June 2022, was told it was fixable and we discussed what needed doing, however for some reason staff member didn't take my details to contact me although I did WhatsApp them a photo of the shoulder strap which was still at home, so technically they had my details on day 1. I was expecting this repair to take a few weeks at most. Popped back in several times over the next weeks, and then months (and left my contact details more than once) only to see that my repair was unstarted, and to be told that they were 'still awaiting the leather' to repair the simple handle straps. Finally gave up and went to collect the bag in February 2023 and was told 'we couldn't get the leather to do the job'. They didn't contact me once. Firstly it's staggering that a shop that claims to do bag repairs can't get leather to repair two simple straps on a leather holdall, and secondly to not contact a customer awaiting a repair even once throughout the 7 months the bag was in their posession is unforgiveable. Very poor service one way or another, which is a shame as the staff seem to be very pleasant and generally helpful. If you have a repair to be done, go elsewhere.

Excellent customer service from Mike Elkin at Nathans Leather Goods & Gifts. I purchased a gentleman's belt which developed an issue. A replacement was posted, no quibble! Really heartening how well this was handled. Thank you.

My sister, visiting from Canada, wanted her travel case repaired. The shop guy spent time checking out the possibility of repair, taking the case apart etc. The case was not repairable. He made no charge for all the time he'd spent despite my sister not buying anything from the shop. He could not have been more helpful.
