Green End Farm Cottages

Spent the first part of our honeymoon in this beautiful accommodation on the wonderful Yorkshire moors. Great location for exploring if you drag yourself away from Green End Farm and the amazing views. Andy and Fran were great hosts friendly and approachable and the accommodation they have developed is stunning. Being able to peak the NYMR steam train chugging past in the valley below was pretty cool and I would recommend taking advantage of the meals Andy and Fran will prepare for you if you want. They were absolutely delicious and it was so nice to arrive to a home cooked meal we could just pop in the oven to finish off. It was so good we ordered another meal for later in the week. The breakfast box of local produce was well worth it too and kept us going all week. We didnt take out dog in this occasion but its a very dog friendly site with so many walks youre spoiled for choose. Well definitely be back thank you again for having us xx

The detail and high-end work done to make these amazing converted barns and farm buildings in the original stone are amazing. We stopped on our way up to Scotland and had a great stay with Fran & Andy. The location is stunning and perfect for the views of the valley and Dales. We did the walk along what was the old railway line and were lucky enough to see the active steam train go past. And stopping for a pint at the Birch Hat Inn is a must! Can't recommend Green End Farm Cottages enough.

Fabulous place to stay! On arrival we felt like we were in Skyfall, absolutely beautiful drive in over the moors with the coastline in the far distance to a welcoming barn complex. Fran and Andy have renovated these converted farm buildings with so much love and attention to detail. Home made confectionary and a festive panetonne made us feel warmly welcomed, alongwith the Christmas decorations. We stayed in the Sheep Shed which was big enough for our party of 3 families to all bring in the New Year, plenty of dining space and an extendable table. The Cow Shed and Stables thoughtfully positioned to maximise the relaxing open views. Thank you Fran and Andy, (also for the cycling advice), we had a fantastic start to 2023 and will look forward to coming back!

This was a special Xmas visit, my parents were going to meet my girlfriends mum (who lives nearby) the 1st time. After a long wet drive , Andy met us at the property & assisted with our bags. The 7 hour drive was worth it when we stepped. So warm, clean and inviting. They were extra helpful in allowing my sister to stay & providing extra bed, bedding & towels. This place is even nicer then the pictures. Its so clear that love and attention to detail has been used when building this. Everything was to an incredible standard, perfection. The dining table comfortably seated all of us plus my gfs mum (6ppl). The surroundings are stunning and the night sky was full of stars. The fire was easy to start and just made the place even more Xmasy. Andy& Fran were responsive and fast if we needed anything and allowed as a leisurely check our at our pace. Xmas was perfect here and memories of our parents meeting for the 1st time! Thanks so much. Dont wait just book this place!!
