Heronsgate Medical Centre

The centre always give excuses, and hardly able to get appointment. I am 3 minutes ways from the centre yet since last 2 years I couldn't get a single appointment. Always had to go to galions reach centre. One of the rubbish service I have come across. People have same experience must speak out for the centre.

The surgery needs to sort out its IT systems. I recently went to the doctors for a Covid-19 booster. I booked in with the receptionist. Sat down and waited my turn. It was a Saturday, so it was not too busy. There were only 3 people in front of me. After those 3 people got there jabs, people who arrived after me started being called in. After the fourth person went in, who arrived after me got seen. I went and asked the receptionist, have I been booked in. And I explained to her that people who arrived after me had already been seen and I am still waiting. The receptionist went in and checked. She came out and said something went wrong with the computer system. I booked you in, on my computer, but the your booking did not show up on the nurses computer. Second time I have booked in the doctors surgery and they have had IT issues.

The NHS website registry says they are open from 8 till midday and then from 2 till 6. So I called after 2 to which I receive an automatic voice response "We are so sorry we are closed for public bank holidays" - what holidays?? There are NONE today...

The best gp Ive ever had. I had multiple long term illnesses and all my referrals have been so quick. You will have to wake up early to get an appointment. But if you are really sick they will squeeze you in
