    Quite frankly disgusted by the prejudice, and contempt shown from a train warden today. I paid for a ticket online and planned to collect it from the station. When I arrived the machine asked for the insertion of a payment card which I did not have on my person, this process did not allow me to use contactless which is all I had for payment. I showed the warden my ref. number & immediately she became cold, and patronising, stating "this is not your ticket'" I explained the situation & that I was "aware this is not my ticket but is there anything you can do with the reference number?" She then, essentially accused me of not paying/lying, I showed her the expense receipt, the order number, the transaction ID, date, payment method, email, every piece of evidence I had. She refused help, at this point I got mad when I had previously been polite. The train manager stepped in to help and he was excellent. He explained the options to me and managed to print a ticket for me from his machine which I'm not sure why she didn't just suggest initially? I even offered to pay for another one at that moment, as I needed to get on the train! I am a young woman who looks much younger than my age so I genuinely think this was an act of prejudice/bias as she was vile toward me as the second I asked her for help. In other stations you can collect without payment card, what if my company had ordered it for me, I wouldn't have the card! I know others who have done this! So why not here? I am still seething! Worst part is, I have 2 degrees and am a manager myself so it's not like I couldn't afford it, as she seemed to be making out!!!!! Just want to stress how brilliant the train manager was though, he was great and remained calm, sorting the situation promptly. He's saved my day but other staff...awful.
