        Had a roast here today and it was lovely, very filling Defo be coming back :)

        Slow and inattentive, basic food. I dont enjoy leaving poor reviews but staff were grumpy and everything was a lot of trouble, they werent sure what was or wasnt available, passed plates down the table instead of walking round, didnt bring any water and then unhappy at providing two glasses of water and reluctant to split the bill in two. Service for an order of sandwiches took over 45 mins from ordering. Multiple tables were left uncleared for ages even when staff were often not doing anything else and many people walked away whilst we were there without ordering. The coronation chicken was luke warm, grey coloured sauce strangely tasted of cinnamon, no butter or spread on the baguette. I had a few broken crisps on the side. On a positive note the ham egg and chips did look lovely. Maybe we arrived on a day the staff were struggling and a few things had gone wrong. I certainly hope so because this should be a lovely place, with great value and a warm welcome but sadly it wasnt the case for us today.
