The worst company I've ever worked. - Management are (mostly) incompetent. Continuously messing up rotas, forgetting to pass on important information. Very quick to anger if you question them - which is drastically unprofessional. Some are even straight manipulative - forcing you to stay on to shifts you never agreed to, threatening you with 'duty of care' if you decline. Outrageous. - Managers are meant to see Service Users regularly, but often won't visit them for months at a time. Or, at best, once a month. This means management feed advice to staff about service users, when staff know MORE about it. Again, if you question them, they act unprofessionally and childish. - The services are a complete shambles, with Service Users often left with inadequate care. - Staff are basically used for ridiculous hours until new staff come in, then suddenly can't find shifts anymore. - Very inconsistent with how they treat staff with mental health issues. Some get a lot of leeway and support, others none at all. It's very much a 'job for the boys' company. - Unprofessional office relationships. The H.R manager was at one stage in a relationship with the company director. A massive conflict of interests that should not be happening in 2023. - The director is obnoxious, and completely out of touch with staff. Posting pictures of trips to Las Vegas while his staff are declined pay rises and struggling to pay gas. But he enjoys the profits of their work, and shows no sympathy towards them. (Again, other than his favourites, who are treated entirely differently). I would not recommend working for this company, unless you have literally no other choice. You will be fed up, stressed out, and annoyed within a few months. A parody of a proper care company, run by overgrown children who's egos always come before the service users needs.
