High Orchard

Went there for a family meal Tables were sticky and dirty. Odered food when food arrived two people ended up having no food .They are like children's portions and not cooked properly, also had a jug of water which was absolutely disgusting didn't even drink out of it as it had sticky yellow-green stuff on it. Overall rating not happy at all I begrudge giving a one star

You have to pay to park in the Pub car park. Give your ticket to the bartender & they knock it off your bill when you order. Disabled bays are available. Nice big bar, carvery situated next to it. Tables are spread out, which is great. Large, clean disabled toilet next to the Ladies & Gents situated in the restaurant area. There is adequate outdoor tables, chairs & a smoking area. The food isn't anything special, just ok. My classic burger was over cooked, therefore on the dry side, instead of being juicy & succulent. My topping of cheddar & mozzarella was just a bit of cheddar no mozzarella in sight. The fries were also a tad over cooked, too hard. My chocolate fudge cake was disappointing, as it was more or less tasteless. Nothingness cake with a bit of chocolate fondant & chocolate sauce. It wasn't warm, as I had asked. The High Orchard isn't a place I would chose to go to for something to eat again.

Went for a meal with my partner and children this evening. Upon arriving it was busy due to the football but the staff were excellent with the speed of service,within 5 minutes I'm sat at table with my drinks. The children played In the children's area whilst waiting for food and kept them entertained the time waiting for food which was less than 15 minutes from ordering. Overly satisfied with the quality of the food and the fair price in this economy. Amazing service from an amazing team,will definitely be returning!
