If youre a rugby fan, avoid ! As away fans we were told this was a rugby pub. Went after the Heineken Cup game & wanted to see the next matches on big screens - they had the matches on screens but incredibly had 2 DJs with huge speakers both upstairs & in the main pub with flashing lights blaring disco music so no audio of the match available. Music was so loud it was deafening. Average age in the packed pub of rugby fans was about 50 - when the music came on & match commentary muted, people started chanting turn it off!, but the music continued. People clearly wanted to watch the match as everyone was facing the screens. We, & many other left, as it was uncomfortably & deafeningly loud, with the strobe & flashing lights headache inducing. Talk about getting your market wrong. What makes it worse is that manager Gary was there, & could see all this happening. Appalling place.
