I can wholly endorse William's description of his piano tuition on this page. He has taught both my daughters over the past 7 to 8 years. William is patient and puts a great deal of thought into the best teaching methods to use with his pupils. Both my girls have a real love of music and piano as a result of William's teaching. The girls enjoy the lessons because William is such a lovely teacher, they enjoy his company as well as the music itself. He has never pressed them to take exams, but helped them progress at their own pace. They have taken an exam when they have felt ready. I would definitely recommend this teacher for his talent, sensitivity and ability to teach.

My teaching approach is flexible and I always adapt it to each individual pupil. Music lessons should be enjoyable, as well as giving pupils a good foundation in learning to play the piano.. I always seek to foster and develop their love of music, and to encourage them to achieve all they can - whether they want to go on and take music exams, or just play for their own enjoyment.

I started learning piano with Mr Morris between 6/7 years ago after previously taking grade 1 violin with a teacher at school (so I have something to compare my teaching experience to). I can honestly say that learning piano with Mr Morris has been one of the most pleasurable experiences I have to date, he is perfect at judging skill level and pinpointing exactly what you need to do to improve your playing. He is flexible with timings and availability which has been perfect for me as I have been learning while at school. Although he is a caring character he has an excellent sense of urgency when necessary which has allowed me to learn quickly and take a grade each year and as with many of his students I have a perfect pass record which alone speaks volumes about his teaching. Not only is Mr Morris an excellent teacher he is also a very genuine and nice person whose attentiveness makes him both a teacher and a friend which enhances the learning experience. I recommend Mr Morris to anyone out there young or old, of any skill level :)
