Brushed my mixed race son's hair dry, with a bristle brush, despite being told by myself several times it needs to be wet to brush, another stylist came past and said the same thing she just carried on, she then said she'd never done this hair type before and asked my son when he had last brushed his hair whilst dragging a brush through it which was painful for him. She wet it slightly with a spray bottle then dragged a narrow comb through it to cut it. The cut was completely uneven with it being short on the back and long at the front/top, she also didn't part his hair, or cut the front at all once i left and it began to dry it became even more apparent how uneven it was. Also when I went to the till the owner tried to charge me extra because it took longer, I complained but was still made to pay 10 which I only did to get out of there as soon as possible. His hair looks terrible and is damaged from the dry brushing. If they don't know how to do certain hair types they should say this right away and not go ahead and start. Edit: I do brush my childs hair regularly when wetted properly it takes 10 minutes to brush through. The issue came from the hairdresser trying to dry brush it despite being advised not to then being given an uneven cut. I have never had these problems with a hairdressers before. The hairdresser just did not know how to do his hair type. Service: Kids' cuts
