Great chippy! Consistently the best in Gloucester, and has been for years, even after changes in ownership / management. We mainly takeaway - once or twice a month on average - but on the odd occasion that we do decide to dine in, its always really good - the Tudor building provides a very different and quaint experience, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Not particularly cheap, but where is nowadays, especially if you want fish? Still represents good value for money though, in my opinion. The chips are lovely and always cooked just right, and the batter on the fish is deliciously crisp and fairly light. Portion sizes are fine. I am very happy to be able to recommend this establishment, and thats certainly been the case for many years.
