Matt Yates (Severn Sparks Ltd, Gloucester) had recently installed a Hypervolt EV charger and we were really pleased with the work. We recently decided that our 40+ yr old fuse board needed upgrading. We discussed this with Matt, who was most helpful. He provided a advice, then a very competitive quote, booked us in, arrived on time, and carried out the work and testing of new kit very efficiently. (While Matt was installing the new equipment, we had no power, so we used the V2L on the EV to provide power to key equipment in the house, eg router, laptops, kettle, etc - brilliant). The same evening we promptly received all the paperwork and compliance certificates from Matt, and an immediate payment was made. Matt was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and most of all, very professional in all that he did. We were delighted with the outcome of both jobs, and will be contacting him the next time we need any electrical work carried out. Thank you Matt. This is the second time Matt has worked at our house. The first was an EV charger, and this time is was to install a smart heating thermostat. As always, we cannot fault Matt. Arrives when he says he will, great communication, and to top it off great work at a fair price. There really isnt much more to say. Will call Matt again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others. We recently used this company to install an ev charger. They were quick, clean and friendly. The communication ahead of the appointment was great and the price was competitive. We've had an ev charger before by another company and they made such a mess and took a really long time to install it, leaving holes in our walls. None of this with Severn Sparks. Wish we used them last time!

Had a EV charge point installed, worked through all options via email and managed to find a point that suited my requirements. Matt did a tidy job of installing the new equipment and wiring in the 6mm cable I had pre-installed. Tests and commission done correctly and all planning and DNO paperwork completed appropriately.

We highly recommend Matt from Severn Sparks. He told us he would be here at 9am and arrived bang on time, so thumbs up for reliability. He installed an EV charger and a new distribution board for us, did an excellent job, checked everything thoroughly, talked us through the work carried out and showed us how to use the EV app. He was professional and friendly.
