I thought I had accidentally destroyed a family heirloom, but David Neno performed miracles and the clock has now been sympathetically repaired and restored. It looks and works better than I have ever known it. A one man 'Repair Shop'. I was so pleased, I bought another one from him!

Expensive with poor Service. A rude arrogant man. Went to his workshop. Has extraordinary ability to put your back up. Thinks he is superior to people and extra clever. Did very poor job on new mechanism just to add a new pendulum to clock as it had split at back. I would have thought was his bread and butter. Kept me waiting. Got the impression he was not happy it was not an expensive repair from some 18th C French Carriage clock or something. Not big money. Even though I was told later it was an expensive refit to what I could have got done elsewhere in a couple of places. Which proved to be the case after asking for estimates after paying here. Never going there again.Might have caught him on a bad day. But there is no need really to be rude to customers. They have not caused his problem. UPDATE. Shop owner has no right to call someone clearly disturbed individual....He admits to not knowing who I am ... there is no change of four words form fake review x months ago.. all my own words.. own review... same style... shop keeper lying again after a libel insult...... as for saying he only does full restorations etc.... it might help if he actually answered the phone to explain all in FULL before hanging up! It is not on his website .. So every word this repair shop chap is saying is actually nonsense... no he has not found me on Google and it has not gone to court and he is just full of it.... .. You can tell inbetween the lines.. and this person obviously cannot be wrong in their own mind.. and probably is some kind of narcissist and deluded to write the reply he has.. you know the kind kind of person. they cannot do anything wrong so they lash out or put others down or insult them from the get go.. so no.. not clearly disturbed..... but actually disgusted at their response... Clearly not a very nice person...... I am glad I take my custom elsewhere to someone who actually deserves my money in Cheltenham instead who is lovely with zero problems. They even answer the phone and are always polite and genuine. The contrast is worlds apart. It is odd as most shop keepers and repair shops are full of pretty lovely people who enjoy their customers and what they do and on the whole are pretty decent folk .
